Saint Arnold’s Higher Secondary School: The Divine Word Educational Society aims at an integral growth and holistic development of its pupil through right education and upright character formation. It also aims at an emergence of social revolution through sound knowledge. One among the many interests of the Divine Word Educational Society is to bring about a unification of the will power among the students and the teachers to build a just society. The Society also aims at eradication of disparity and discrimination through preferential option for the poor and the marginalized. Education should become a medium to instill the universal solidarity feeling of oneness among all people who are associated with our schools.
With a vision to foster and facilitate Children of knowledge & character ‘The Divine Word Education Society’ has bestowed its eternal blessings on Saint Arnold’s School, a co-educational institution situated in Kalinga Vihar 489, K-5 Bhubaneswar 751019, a residential area developed by Bhubaneswar Development Authority. Late CM J. B. Patnaik approached the President of the Society of the Divine Word to establish an English Medium School for quality education to students of the newly founded residential area. From its humble beginning in 2002 Saint Arnold’s School has taken a strong foothold on the education landscape with a focus not only on academic education but on the all-round development of the students. Everyone who steps into the campus is fascinated and appreciative of the creative and inspiring way the landscape is developed with impressive gardens, playgrounds surrounded by variety of trees and open gym etc.
Saint Arnold’s School became a full-fledged High School in 2013 when the first batch of students were sent to appear for ICSE Board examinations. It has always been securing 100% result in the ICSE Board Exam since its foundation. In response to the new challenges in the educational environment, the management has come up with a new vision for the school – “Academic Excellence and integrity”. New initiatives by the management are designed to strengthen the academy’s capacity to foster students’ personal and social responsibility. We hope the students who pass out of the portals of this institution would be well integrated persons, synthesizing their mind and heart with high and creative thinking for the molding of a better society.
Recognizing the great need for expanded and more modern facilities, an overall facelift to the existing structure was undertaken with a view to give better ambience, safety and security to students, parents, staff and teachers. School has dedicated, enthusiastic and passionate teachers. It is furnished with high-tech Smart classrooms, CCTV surveillance system covering the entire school and the campus, Media center, a prayer room, well-designed computer and science labs to explore and experiment and CTI lab (Computational Thinking & Innovation) to transform students from passive technology users to active inventors and Innovators. To foster creativity among the students the school in collaboration with the GOI (Government of India) has newly established a well-designed and technically furnished ATL (Atal tinkering Laboratrory). The entire school has 24/7 power and Wi-Fi, and for academic as well as administrative efficiency and growth, the entire school system is digitized and automated through SipsNitya ERP software. For the all-round development of students, the school offers a well-developed sport facility for football, volleyball, basketball, cricket, badminton etc. It has also introduced scouts & guides, community service and green brigade to foster better school-community collaboration.

We are overjoyed and pleased to announce our future plan of upgrading Saint Arnold’s School to Saint Arnold’s Higher Secondary School with enrolment of the first batch from March 2022.
